Kim Puckett
Kim Puckett focuses her practice on a wide array of Texas oil and gas issues, including the rendering of acquisition, drilling, and division order title opinions and the negotiating and drafting of oil and gas leases, agreements, and contracts. Prior to joining Shanor & Franklin, Kim was a partner in a Fort Worth-based oil and gas firm where she rendered and reviewed title opinions covering oil and gas properties across the State of Texas, including the Permian Basin, Haynesville Shale, Eagle Ford Shale, and Barnett Shale. Kim is also licensed in North Dakota and Kansas, where she has extensive experience rendering fee, state, and federal title opinions.
Kim earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law, and her B.B.A. from Texas A&M University. In 2012, Kim became Board Certification in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
